George Arthur McDaniel, 73, of Kilbourne, passed away at 2:29 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025. He was born on May 25, 1951 in Bath Township to Johnnie M. "Bud" and Laura Belle (Ward) McDaniel.
George is survived by his children, Matt (Kelli) McDaniel of Havana and Nicholas McDaniel of Springfield; grandchildren, Ian McDaniel-Chambers of Memphis, Tennessee, Kayla (Brett) Flinn of Havana, Cole (Amanda) McDaniel of Havana, and Ashton McDaniel; and great-grandchildren, Brycen Flinn and Camden McDaniel. Also surviving are his siblings, Tom (Patty) McDaniel of Kilbourne, Kenneth "Leo" (Leslie) McDaniel of Kansas, Richard McDaniel of Omaha, Nebraska, and Robert (Lynne) McDaniel of Kilbourne; several nieces and nephews; and caregivers, Karissa Wilkey and Katy Tonks. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Anthony McDaniel; and brother, Charles McDaniel.
George was a member of Laborers Local #231 and worked for Caterpillar.
