Loretta M. Lohnes, 94, of Havana, passed away at Mason City Area Nursing Home, at 1:44 p.m., on Saturday, January 18, 2025. She was born February 28, 1930, in Mapleton, Illinois, to Walter and Sarah (Bishop) Terrell. She married Clifford A. Lohnes, on August 23, 1947, in Pekin, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2001.
Loretta is survived by two children: Richard (Dianne) Lohnes, of Pekin, and Deborah Boyd, of Havana; as well as five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Clifford, and two siblings: George Terrell, and Bernice Lampton.
Loretta was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Havana. She enjoyed playing Bunco and had worked for Oney's Grocery Store for many years.
Graveside services will be held at Glendale Memorial Gardens, in Pekin, on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Rev. Ian Heinze and Rev. Abraham Mogerman will officiate.
