Gregory Owen Gathmann, 64, of San Jose passed away at Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 5:57 PM. He was born on April 11, 1960 in Forest City to Gerald and Joyce (Owens) Gathmann.
Gregory is survived by his mother Joyce, 2 children: Greg Gathmann of Lincoln and Angela (Clint) Gathmann-Canada of San Jose, 2 granddaughters: Lorelei Gathmann and Karli Canada, sister Sheryl (Randy) Judd of Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald, brother Steven, sisters: Sharon and Karen and infant twin siblings, and infant granddaughter Ava.
Gregory enjoyed visiting with his granddaughter, driving around and spending time with his cat Dino. He retired from Eaton Corporation in Lincoln.
A funeral will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Mike Nichols officiating at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his granddaug
